Karen has been fortunate to work in special education for her entire career. She has taught at every level of public education, from integrated preschool to high school. She has worked in private settings, inclusion settings and substantially separate settings. Through her experience and training, she has developed a very strong understanding of individual student needs, and school district guidelines for both regular and special education. Most importantly, Karen understands how these components must work collaboratively. Karen offers a wide range of services to support students and families with their educational journeys. From individualized academic tutoring, to academic assessments to assess skills and determine progress, to advocacy for families through the evaluation/IEP process, Karen is ready to support you and your child.
